It ought to flash three times, and then after that the other codes (if any) will be flashed out (with a pause between the first and second digit). Each code will be flashed 3 times. Note that not all are applicable to the Beretta specifically (i.e. wastegate related ones), but GM used the same codes/meanings on their ECM's for consistency..
