The Beretta's sleek looks and solid aerodynamics brought it to the attention of many NHRA drag racers. The Beretta body was used in several classes, notably Pro Street.
The Beretta has been used by everyone in professional drag racing from privateers to established racing teams with big-name sponsors. Drag Beretta's were popular enough that Revell-Monogram even made a scale model of a Pro Street Beretta.
