Wanted: Factory Sunroof Handle Assembly for 89GT
Does anybody have a factory sunroof handle assembly for an 89 GT? I am looking for the handle part that attaches to sunroof itself via two screws. If you were to remove the sunroof from the car on a sunny day, I would be looking for the entire handle assembly that remains with the glass and is locat...

Thank you. Yes, for the past 25+ years, we have taken good care of the car, and it has taken good care of us. We still get compliments on the car, usually with "I used to have one of those..."themixer wrote:You must be sad to see it go, still looks pretty good for the year!

89 GT Rear Brake Lines Along Frame
89 Beretta GT, rear brake steel line is leaking just in front of driver's rear wheel. Leak is right at the black plastic retaining clip that holds the two steel rear brake lines and the fuel lines. I replaced the fuel lines and these brake lines in the summer of 2003 with a GM assembly that came pre...

Re: Need help finding part
If an OE part cannot be found, my approach would be to buy a Dorman HELP double-ended vacuum nipple that fits into the rubber grommet, then to cut back a bit of the plastic line and use a small piece of rubber vacuum hose to interface to remainder of the plastic line (or to run all rubber line to re...

If you've ever posted diagnostic help in this forum, take a moment to be recognized. Sure, there are all of the active threads that people respond to, but what about the help that someone gets via an internet search? Here's my point. A guy I work with has a beater 99 Escort ZX2 that threw a code P17...

Re: Battery issue
If my car sits for more than 2 days without being started, the battery is dropping down to about 10 volts, yet when I boost it, it goes right back up to 13.5 give or take and I can turn off the car and fire it back up. I had it tested before and there is a minimal drain but I am thinking the batter...
