It could be the headgasket too the system becomes unprimed and when you step on the gas it primes again.
A friend had this sort of problem before.

after wrecking the 89 GT back in dec 05 i got a 95 beretta

There are some pics of the car and on the second page there is my engine and tranny swap, you'll see why i needed to do the swap.  I could hardly go reverse.

Rusty engine block

I have a 2.2l that im putting into my 95 beretta.
The only problem is that it is soooo ugly,  the block is all rusty.  What is the best way to get rid of the rust without haveing to take the engine apart.

I have a abs light on to I also have a 95. My problem is that the rear driverside wheel speed sensor is not working any more. You can tell if its the abs master cylinder or not if the light goes out after starting the engine and only goes on when you start moving. In this case like mine its probably...

Just a suggestion here, but could it be a head gasket if was leaking enough drip down the side of the engine, down the tranny?

Ive had a battery that the voltage is fine when you measure it - no load. But when there is load - Starting it then the voltage goes down because of internal problems with the battery. Replace battery and it was good.

I just looked at the wiring diagram in my haynes manual and there is a hazard light flasher and signal light flasher so they are separate.
