Okay, I got my plenum off, and it's definitely caked with carbon on the inside. What's the best stuff to get that out of there? ...and what about the lower half? Is there something I can spray in there to get rid of the crap in the lower half without fouling my plugs or messing something up? Thanks!

I got my new throttle body today ($50 on Ebay...brand new!! WITH sensors!!), and found something interesting. Ironic, too, since I started this thread about the EGR and how to block it off. The vacuum plate on the top of the throttle body, which the four-plug vacuum fitting fits in, is NOT drilled ...

The headlight buttons in my '88 are shot, as is the wiper switch. The wiper motors are long gone, also. Luckily, it doesn't rain much here in Vegas.
