Probably not, the '89 Bonneville had the 1st Gen 3800 so I'm guessing the engine mounts wouldn't work very well, if they did, however, you would have to do some electronics/wiring changes for it to run

Gear oil you mean right? 5spd don't have "trans" fluid, its just more of gear oil 85W or so, or as I call it "*** Oil" since it smells so bad haha

You know another thing you could always try is do what Curtis Walker has done, use Iron Heads and a 3.4 Camaro intake I believe it is. Yeah it is a bit extreme but last I remember hearing that engine breaths and can make power upwards and beyond 8000 RPM....
