Re: Beretta Convertible on ebay?!?

The truth hurts... I've been looking for the convertible spoiler for years and I guess I'll never get one... They messaged back and said that they had an assortment of grilles, bumper covers and light housings but none from the same car. I realize that literally no one cares about these cars except ...

Re: Beretta Convertible on ebay?!?

I've sent a message about the spoiler, mirrors and gauge cluster to see if they have any other parts or if the car is being parted out at this time. Weba, I'm hoping that you are wrong, not to be able to flaunt it or anything, but I'm really hoping that someone could potentially get that car. We'll ...

Re: Beretta Convertible on ebay?!?

If you look at the item description they even list a VIN. I was under the impression that these didn't have real VINs and were test mules/press cars.

Beretta Convertible on ebay?!?

While perusing through listings I found what looks to be the Red Convertible from the "Goodie Bin" that some shop is parting-out! I'm not much of a 'Vert guy, but I know that these things are pretty rare and some of us on here would love to have one. If you live near Mason Michigan, and ho...

Re: Rear axle bushing information

If the Whiteline bushing is narrower, will it still work? From the looks of the original, it used part of the bushing as a rubber "snubber" to limit lateral axle shift... will these do the same?

Re: Rear axle bushing information

Not to bring a thread back from the dead... I read this thread a long time ago and was pretty disappointed that the only options available for our cars was OEM NOS or Aftermarket. I hate the "squirmy" feeling our twist beam gives during quick lane changes and the "delay" the rear...

Re: 1990 Indy turbo

GM preprogrammed the engine computer to interrupt fuel when a certain speed was reached (it has to do with the speed ratings on the original tires). My '88 would cut fuel at 120mph. The first time it did it, I freaked out, the sudden deceleration made me think something came unglued in the engine! I...

Re: Engine hoist

I always found that lifting the body off the engine/trans and subframe was easier... Just set some jacks stands under the subframe, disconnect the battery, all hoses, electrical connections (mark what they go to!), shift linkage, and fuel lines then unbolt the struts and calipers from the knuckles. ...

If that bumper is still available I'd be interested, though I'd hate to break up the set...

Re: Center of Gravity

Yeah, I understand that. Well, I'm interested in optimizing the stock suspension since our layout ( MacPherson front, semi-independent rear) is very widely used and can be highly competitive when properly set-up. If we can determine CoG it'll be a benefit for all in our community interested in all f...

Re: Center of Gravity

http://www.thecartech.com/subjects/auto_eng/Center_of_Gravity.htm This page has some good info for finding the exact location of the CoG... I'd like to perform these measurements, I really would, but my car is almost an empty shell right now. I'm doing some rust repair and a re-paint and getting so...
