Re: GTU/indy kit

Hey my login still works! Sorry it took me a few days to get back to you, no excuses, just been crazy busy. I'll get some pictures put up tonight. I have a full kit in red, a yellow GTU spoiler, GTU mirrors, GTU wheels, dash and bumper emblems, basically everything if you're looking to do a clone ty...

This still happening on the 18th? I'm going to be back in Chicago the next weekend for a racing show too.

Re: Wanna Laugh? Here Ya Go!

Autotrader Classic puts in the dollar sign and comma automatically, so I'm betting it's just a typo and it actually 6500. Still, lowrider/hydrailics aren't really my thing regardless of price.

Re: strut 2 radiator support bars and GTU door molding

If it helps make it easier to find for you, that door and quarter panel molding is not GTU specific; it was on 89 GT's as well.

Re: Wisconsin

Welcome to the addiction. :)

I'm right over in Fort Atkinson, and there's another guy here just outside Janesville. We get together between here and Chicago quite a bit; you'll have to join us sometime.

Re: STYLUSS DIY........

How's it been holding up long term? Does the sun beat the crap out of it, or is it actually still holding the gloss you had initially? I might just do this to my Jeep too, then I don't feel so bad when I scratch it off roading around the woods :)

Crystal will be home with a 6 week old or so at that time, so I'll definitely be there if I can, but probably just on Saturday.

Re: whaaaat!

If I do buy another Beretta, it's most likely going to be something like this. The numbers he's giving are 1/8 mile, probably a low 9 second car in the quarter. I see rollers once in a while, but that car is complete. It's actually a great deal too, that thing cost at least the $19K he's asking to b...

Re: YAY EBAY!

Read the guy's feedback, he shouldn't even be allowed on ebay. Even the positives are peppered with, "motor was junk, but refunded money."

Where are you located? Most of us have a couple of them lying around, you might be able to save shipping cost at least.

Re: V8 RWD Beretta

If the car was built solely to race, you'd be surprised what drag racers will make work to go fast on the cheap. Don Garlits came out to the 50th anniversary of my track a few years ago, and he was shifting his Swamp Rat with a chunk of wood - no lie. Honestly, as long as it's not quicker than 10.50...

Re: Decent craigs find

I love how "Thanks." is one sentence, and the entire rest of the ad is the other. Nice car at a nice price though. Hard to tell from the pictures if somebody actually polished out a set of GTZ wheels or if they're just painted.

I was non-union, but I worked with the United Steel Workers union a few years ago. Thus far the only union I've worked with that doesn't have its head in the sand, and actually seems to have the best interest of its members in mind. I'm the Quality Control Manager/Safety Manger at a corrugated box ...

Re: the "what do you do for a living" thread

My place looked a whole lot different when I started there. We're about 50% faster than we were five years ago, and twice as profitable. More money in the company kitty = more job security, not to mention more profit sharing. I've been thinking about starting a manufacturing consulting thing on the ...
