Re: Battery drain

Your battery can't be much good to go dead in 10 minutes. Or, that is one hell of a drain.
I had a battery that had an internal short. I could charge it up and sitting on my bench, it would drop
down to 11 volts overnight.

Re: [FIX]Passenger side wiring harness leak

Nice work. I can see a lot of effort went into that. Even all the sanding on the under side must have taken a lot of patience.
Then you even painted with a matching color. I hope the repair lasts.

Re: Corsica misfiring after rain

Check the connector to the ECM. I had a 90 Beretta with a cowl leak on the passenger side which caused moisture in that area of the ECM. The corrosion caused intermittent contacts, the IAC would not close and caused a really high idle (2K). I think it possible that corrosion could also cause the IAC...

Here is a write up I did of how to test your motor yourself. I know that I've had motors go bad but I never had a switch go bad.

"When i cleaned iac, I unplugged battery. After cleaning, I did not do idle relearn and the car worked well (except misfire ofc). After 2 weeks, I decided to do the idle relearn; hard start came back? After that I was like wtf and tried cleaning and checking iac again, without success. Its been...

Re: Driver's side window stuck in the down position

In some of my GM cars, the regulator motor has a internal circuit breaker which becomes sensitive. The window goes down but won't go up or goes up in short bursts. This is that circuit breaker device tripping. To get the window back up, you can try having someone pull up on the window while another ...

Damn, that's smoking! My old small block Camaro was only a little faster. You're really making horsepower with that v6.

Re: Problem beretta 2.8v6 1988 difficult start

The TCC connector is in the upper left corner behind the black wire harness. You can't really see it in this pic. You don't have to remove the pan to unplug the tcc connector to see if that is the problem. These early v-6's seem to have a lot of injector problems. You might want to check those out t...

Re: 90 Indy starts and stalls immediately

You have to put an ohm meter across the terminals of each injector. It should read about 11-12 ohms.
I'm not sure if there is a harness that you can disconnect but then you'd need a pin-out for the harness.
On the 3.1, I think you need to pull the upper plenum to get at the injectors.

Re: Pre 91 Parking Brake Handle Assembly

Here is a photo of extra plastic parts for my 96. I think they are very similar to yours except mine has a rounded side on the button. There are half round pieces, as viewed from the end of the button, those are missing from your button that clasp onto the tabs of the long arm part. The arm goes dow...

Re: 1990 beretta misfire

With those bad injectors, maybe the valves have carbon on them. Its a pita but do a compression check.
