Re: 2021 Beretta.Net Calendar - WE HAVE A TIE!
" Are forums really that confusing these days?" Probably not. I'm might be just kind of stupid as you implied. But I've also been pretty busy. I had to put my cat to sleep two weeks ago, I had him 15 years, he was a great cat. I nursed him these last 4 months with subcutaneous fluids, pres...

Re: So what's everyone else into for hobbies
I used to fly U-Control and later, RC airplanes. I last flew RC about 30 years ago. I had a couple daughters and I was busy in my business and so I let them sit. My gosh, the U-Controls have been hanging there for probably 40 years. I see homes of older people and they seem to be full of clutter. I ...

Yes my old station wagon had a th400 in it but it was the long-shaft so I couldn't use it in my 68 Camaro. Sorry I didn't see your comment until now. That is an appropriate name form a camping trailer. It brings to mind wide open spaces and countryside to spend time in. On the other hand, I was joki...

Re: Mini Van from hell
Thanks for the input. It always seems the older stuff is better then new eh? My van is exempt from emission testing but if I had newer, it has to pass and would not with an SES light. I guess you don't have to test? On my daughter's 96, the SES light for the convertor was due to head gasket leaking....

What year car? Exactly what do you need? I have later model column in my attic. You need the switch mounted on the column under the dash?

Re: looking for a beretta in Illinois for sale.
Yes I can but I'm a bit busy right now. Just got back from a short vacation. Cleaned up some storm damage from Monday's storm. Now I have some repairs to make to my gutters and roof. I have the plumber coming out Monday to dig up my porch area to replace sewer line. Plus the alternator on my Saturn ...

Re: looking for a beretta in Illinois for sale.
I'm just north of Chicago. I'm not interested in the Corvette but I think about getting a newer car so I could, possibly sell my 88 GT. It's in very nice condition. I've replaced a bunch of stuff like brake lines, fuel lines, tank, fuel pump etc. Everything on it works fine. Tires are almost new It ...

Re: Silverado build 3.0...or should I say 8.1
Nice truck. A lot of nice touches you've added. It's not too loud like some guys do. That Impala reminds me of the 72 Caprice wagon I used to have. The 400 BBC engine from it, is what is in my 68 Camaro now. All stock. I wish I had your energy. I'd like to put TBI on the 400. Nice touch with the muf...

Re: Project 91 "SS" 3400/5spd
Interesting video. Again, I feel sorry you messed up your car. I hope the repair goes well and soon! When I've had rusty brake lines blow out, gravity drains all the fluid out. Unless air to displace the fluid can't get in under those bellow like things in the reservoir seal. Maybe some gunk in the ...

Not so tough Alternator
One time, after I bought this car, it's 2yr old battery died, (no crank after sitting a few days). I thought maybe the previous owner let the battery sulfate, it otherwise seemed fine. I bought a new battery and put it in. Since I wasn't driving the car regularly, I kept a float charger on it. Now, ...

Re: Limp mode
You need to first get the code for the SES light. Autozone can read that code for you.
That will help determine what is wrong. Otherwise it a guessing game.

I feel for ya on that quarter panel damage. But at least it didn't hit in front of the rear wheel.
