I always just use the AC Delco single electrode plugs except for, in my camaro I used Bosch Platinum single electrode plugs because they are supposed to last a long time (it took me like 2 1/2 hrs to replace the 8 plugs on that car) and I dont want to replace them again.

another thing, the reason its (the governor) there is that under no load an engines valves will float if there is to much rpm causing accelerated wear between the valve, rocker arm, pushrod, and sometimes cam.
