forged rod and piston for 450HP? i think the 3500 can handle 450hp with the stock pistons. Ive seen a 3400 with 400Hp with no internal upgrades. its all in the tuning.

check 3400 engine swap after that well you would need tuning for mor ethen that...and you would have to upgrade to Obd2 or downgrade to obd1

great chip from a good place....I order everything for my v6 from there. if you plan on keeping the engine go on but if you plan on swapping it, wait buy a chip made for a 3400.

nice info but watch out. some base got Upgraded suspension And Full gauge cluster, meaning its not an Z26 thing only.

You dont need to swap timing covers...you can just grind off the boss that's in the way of the serpentine setup. It's all very easy for a 3100 to 3400 swap. You don't even need to crack a fuel line or power steering. You can use your stock exhaust with the 3100 rear manifold, but using the 3400 rea...

I did a complete rebuild on my 3100 last year in about a week, and that was with my dad kicking me out of the garage constantly so he could work on his truck. I'm thinking it'll take a day or so, as long as nothing goes wrong. And thanks for the guide, it's going to make everything sooo much easier...

very easy you have to take out the engine and swap everything to the other engine. then you put the 3400 in the bay. its really esay since both blocks are the same part wise.
