Re: My bad luck
That's some crap man. You have an Advance Auto near you? If you do give em' a call and see if they got one for you. I know many will say it but I've worked there for awhile now and consider it to be a quality parts retailer. That and many pro shops around us use us for parts and I've never heard any...

Re: stall8ng..not starting
Was the low oil level light lit at all? If not check for codes man. That will help narrow it down. If there's no codes than check your spark and compression.

Re: stall8ng..not starting
I'd say check the Crank Positon Sensor. That would cause a random stall. If that checks out start with the basics, compression spark and fuel.

Re: 95 beretta z26 down shifting problem. Need help.
I don't believe you have a kickdown cable. What you reattached was the cruise control cable. Kickdown is controlled by a modulator which is controlled through vacuum. Check that the vacuum line is attached as well as the supply line from the intake manifold to the modulator. If that looks good the c...

Re: Door Check Link
PM sent mixer. Yea there isn't any NOS anymore and while I did attempt to contact Dorman to see about the possibility of them putting something like that into production there isn't anywhere else short of a junkyard. Being in the Northwest my options in the junkyards are limited as the big one in th...

Re: Door Check Link
It's what holds the door open, mine is either broke or worn out so my door won't stay open without holding it with my hand.

Battery hold down
Hey guys needed some info on the battery hold down. Mine was missing so I got a replacement wedge and bolt but was puzzled on how it threads into the tray. Was there a nut insert on the tray or did they just use a standard nut on the bolt to secure the hold down?

Re: What could be behind the Beretta's disappearance?
I don't think the market died really, lots of Honda two doors are roaming around. What killed it was a combination of GM kind of letting the car get too aged/stagnant and the wonderful government rewriting the rules to "save" the common man from those horrible automotive death traps.

Re: 96 beretta stuck in 3rd or 4th gear?
I pulled the front connector off the transmission, cleaned it and its working again. I want to change my transmission fluid just it case, its been a while and looks dirty. Ahhhh good, probably just material gumming up the solenoid. I figured it was something a little less simple. Usually when lip s...

Hmmm than I'd say its a lip seal on the clutch pack for 1-2 or an accumulator seal is out.

Re: 96 beretta stuck in 3rd or 4th gear?
Check fluid level first. Not knowing the power flow of the 4T60E I would guess either the solenoids or a seal are blown. Does it work after warming up?

Re: Can't resolve this no-fuel issue
Are the injectors the correct replacements? Curious that it would run fine with the old but not work at all with new injectors. Verify they are the correct ones than get a fuel pressure test kit to verify your getting fuel pressure.
