Re: My Beretta's! :)

Working on my sunbird in the garage and using my Indy to play music with my tape adapter. Had to stop and take more pictures.
The yellow Indys are my all time favorite! :)

Re: Corsica misfiring after rain

That is why I own more than one car with the same Gen2 v6 engine. lol I can swap parts between them and its easier to verify known faults with sensors and other electronics. I like the Gen2 v6 because its simple and resiliant to use and abuse, plus there is only like 7 electronic things that could p...

Possible cause to my ignition breaking.

I believe I found the possible cause to the ignition breaking on my 90 GTZ. This flat round piece of plastic. It fits super tight and it was right on the edge of the tabs that held the wing nut part of the ignition on the cylinder. I think this is why it cracked, I found it interesting. The key goes...

Re: Corsica misfiring after rain

Shouldnt be locking or unlocking while maintaining a constant speed and load condition. Should stay locked in that case. It is hard to know the exact cause. Here is a list of possible causes I would look into if it was me, (this is in the order that I would check them): 1) Poor connection on tcc plu...

Re: Corsica misfiring after rain

Sometimes the running condition can cause the TCC to not engage or disengage 100% right, causing the slight jerking feeling. I had that problem when the IAC wasn't right on my 94 sunbird, had a slight jerking mouton every time the TCC disengaged.

Re: Corsica misfiring after rain

Lol, Lets see, played with iac today whether it had any effect on the starting problems. Ran the engine when iac was loose mouted on the tb. Engine started misfiring again slightly... then put iac back properly mounted but still had slight misfire. I think i messed up something with iac and now ecu...

Re: Corsica misfiring after rain

Well the question where its supposed to go under the dash, since i had to take apart the passengers side harnesses and interior to repair the ecm hole at firewall. These two vacuum lines come with the ecm wiring harness bundle at the passengers side, other one goes to the HVAC line on AC panel. But...

Re: Corsica misfiring after rain

I know there is one that goes under the dash for HVAC on the passenger side. And a larger hose on the driver side for the brake pedal and cruise control vacuum switch. I never remembered seeing more than one there. Are you able to follow it to see whee it goes under the dash and under the hood? I kn...

Re: Corsica misfiring after rain

Whoorray. Shes running again. And runs great. I think it's never been running that well over the time I have owned this Corsica. Looks like wires were bad and als many plugs looked really bad, one plug had corrosion on its boot. Ok, now the car runs very well and feels powerful. Starts great when i...

Re: Muffler to make quad4 sound good?

I think thats what happen to my minty Indy and my 90 GTZ. Previous owners had a lot of shorter trips and the pipes rusted from the inside. lol

Re: Muffler to make quad4 sound good?

That looks good. I wonder how long that spring lasts. We have an S10 that a mouse always likes to pack seeds up the muffler, that valve looks like a good idea for it. lol I know there is a member (I believe his car is called cocaine?) Who has nothing just the 4 header pipes out the front fender. I h...

Re: Muffler to make quad4 sound good?

I need to emphasize we're talking over 2 decades ago regarding the sound of the GTZ with a super turbo muffler. As I remember, it wasn't raspy. I would see him a lot on the road and it always had a really nice note to it. If you heard it, you knew it was a performance exhaust. But it wasn't obnoxio...
