Re: What kind of muffler do you have?

These days I'm more partial towards quieter exhaust. I'm considering getting a 96 Beretta base muffler and putting it on my 90 gtz because it works very well for silencing the 3100 SFI engine, its exhaust makes no noise. I don't think airflow will be an issue at all.

Re: Options for Leather shift knob and shift boot??

That looks good.

Reminds me of the 2002 Trans Am Shift Boot:

Re: Adding the overhead console?

I never swapped one onto a car, but I remember some of it from parting a yellow Indy a long time ago. There is the metal bracket behind it that you will need. Wiring I believe its a constant 12 volts and the grounds are what get switched for the ceiling/reading lights (That is how my Z26 mirror is),...

891 Light Bulb, is there an LED option?

I'm looking into the light bulbs for the GTZ/Z26 third brake light. I know the 891 Bulb is the replacement for the brake light, is there an LED alternative that anyone is using? I know I can modify it with LED strips, but I'm trying to find an LED style bulb that can plug into the existing sockets. ...

Re: Need 3rd brake light for z26

Yah some people charge a lot for some stuff online.

Dont give up, there is also the chance a member might have one they can sell for a good price.

Re: Need 3rd brake light for z26

Thats not good. Yah they can break easily if they become brittle. Try this web site: http://www.car-part.com Search for 1990-1996 Chevy Beretta "Third brake light", then select with spoiler after it comes up, then you have to sort through the listings. Hopefully someone local to you has on...

Re: Need 3rd brake light for z26

lol its all good. I only mention it so it helps you find one faster. :) I'll keep an eye out if I find one. The Z26 spoiler brake lights are hard to find. If your red plastic part is in good shape, the grey back reflector part can be cut off carefully and you can retrofit LED strips into the red pla...

Re: Need 3rd brake light

It may help to specify which type of 3rd brake light you need.
There are 3 different 3rd brake lights for the Beretta depending on the package.

Re: -88 GT

I've got bad results removing the stock 2-cell cat converter from V6, ruined the sound with any muffler I've tried.. Btw if you run rich all the time, you'r injectors are leaking, common for the types gen-2 engine uses. I got a almost-new set for sale that has about 10 000km on them :) 3100 Gen3 in...

Re: Electronic Flasher relay Upgrade INFO

Yah I don't know what would make that chime sound. I've never heard it go off on its own before so I'm okay without it being connected on my vehicle. The key in ignition or lights left on chime is a different chime which works off of a different circuit so I know its not that. These cars don't sound...

Re: Educate me on N20 kits

1 step colder for a 75 shot and 2 steps for a 100 shot... Yes wet kit all the way... Otherwise you will have to find a way to tell the ECU to provide more fuel when the system is engaged, OR you have a pig rich N/A tune at WOT... neither is ideal. Any universal fogger kit will work... To this day t...

Re: Anyone know anything about stock keyless entry on beretta?

Yah my 96 is a Black car with grey interior and it gets very hot in the summer time. I'm in ohio. That is also why I added high powered radiator fans that sound like a mini jet engine, it also helps make my AC colder than the factory fan could do at idle. I set my remote start timer to 1 hour but I'...

Re: Anyone know anything about stock keyless entry on beretta?

There was space for me under the driver side of the dash, the door side of the steering column, that is where I put everything I added, up inside. I mainly used relays because the Viper box, the signals are usually ground switches, so I give the relay coil a constant +12 volts and the box switches t...

Re: Anyone know anything about stock keyless entry on beretta?

I connected my lock/unlock wires in parallel with the actual lock/unlock switch in the drivers door. I sent a couple wires from under the dash through the door jam rubber and into the drivers door and soldered them in parallel with the buttons output wires. Made it easy because each switch controls ...
