Re: r12 to r134a convertion...? Is this even factory...??
Hello, I have a 88 Beretta with a V6. Seems like mine came without the high pressure port as well. Here in Germany you can't by R134 like in the US you have to go through a certified garage to get the system charged and they need the high side port for R134. Will these two sets from rockauto provide...

Re: A/C Expansion Valve
Found it, right tube wrong end.
It is right next to the coolant container.
My garage is filled with embarassment.

Re: A/C Expansion Valve
Hello,
I have a 88 GT and I am working on my AC system. Got everything done, but where is the orifice tube located?
From the manual it looks like it is on the engine side of the passenger footwell, but the two AC tubes are empty.
Any hints?
Thank you

Re: New strut - b.o.o.b.
Hello,
can you tell me please what the part number for the Sachs struts is.
I am not able to find them on the Internet and my parts dealer can only get a right front one from Monroe.
Thank you

Re: Nooooooooo
I have an '88 bought in '87.
The original calipers had Torx bolts, the replacement calipers I put on came with Allen bolts.
Sorry, I do not remember theTorx size.

Re: New strut - b.o.o.b.
Hello, I feel your pain. I have a good and a bad Gabriel G56705 and G56706 on my '88 GT. In general the quality of the parts I have been receiving is poor. At least they both worked for a couple of month. Would you please share the part numbers for the ones you have tried. I guess I will have to tak...

Front struts, motor mounts
Hello, I drive an '88 Beretta VIN 1G1LV11W0JY286225. A couple of month ago I have replaced the front struts on the car, everything was fine for a while. Lately it feels like one of the shock absorbers is binding. At least that is the only explanation I have. One side of the carI can push down over a...

Re: Suspension Option CV Shaft
The winner is woody90gtz. Even though the FE... refers to the suspension, it seems to have an impact on the CV shafts. I am sure the parts suppliers do not differentiate these without a reason. The swaybar on my car measures 30 mm. Due to the year it can only be the FE3. I want to thank everybody fo...

Re: Suspension Option CV Shaft
Hello,
I looked through the page from Advanced Autoparts.
When you select the manufacturer Heri they also differentiate the FE3 and FE7 option with different length.
Again none of the options show up on the sticker in the trunk.
Thank you

Re: Suspension Option CV Shaft
Hallo, thank you both for your reply. Advanced Auto does not differentiate between the suspension options. Rockauto, Napa and O'Reilly do. They list the options and even the different length. The car I am planning to repair is not in the US, so taking the parts out and showing them to the parts stor...

Suspension Option CV Shaft
Hello, I am new to this. I have a 88 Beretta and neither the local Chevy dealer nor the part stores can tell me which CV shafts (left and right) to buy. Everybody says look at the sticker in the trunk, but it does not contain the information required. Available at the parts stores are the following ...
