Curtis W. friends Cavi station wagon is a good example of a costom made x-over ment to clear a 5spd with the dreaded mount thats found on all j/L body cars with the 2.8s auto or 5spd.

nocutt, I've actually read the entire thread!..both of them.. . I've seen alot of boosted dyno runs and they all verry. Some with tq numbers beeing different from the hp numbers as close as each other to 10- 150 numbers. Actually the 150 numbers are usually diesel apps. as they make more tq than hp ...

Officially mine should be TGTO for Turbo GT Over 3 liters...though my engine might change to a 2800 hybrid or a 3liter down the line.

The pistons have to come out. Im sure the piston rings are cluttered with siezed oil. You have to check the cylinder bores for cracks or excessive expansion. And in light of the cracks on the bolt holes..and all the testing you need to do to the block....I say look for another one. Time for a 3rd ge...

Save your money and make a CAI, and find a good exhaust setup.
So for now..enjoy your car...give it a good tune up with the best plugs and mobil 1. So later when you have some cash..you can trade it in for a G** or Z26 model Beretta. or what ever tickles your ..

The trans mount mod only goes if your using a Automatic. YOu need to mod or make a x-over pipe for the turbo to clear your 5spd mount...or use a fiero or w-body style setup of a mount for the 5spd. I'd make a new x-over if that is a original TGP x-over. They are prone to rust, cracks, and leaks. Aws...

Thanks..but I've settle with Ok-ish clamps. But I'll keep that in mind.
I'll see what you do for a air filter setup if you do nocutt...since im in the same boat..no room. Im still airfilterless. Not ideal for dusty commutes.

Wow..all the pieces are comming together finally. It's there..but not quite.."wanna turn the key...ahhh".. . Wish I had some poket change for some of those clamps . As always...sweet man.
