Re: Base 2.2 AT 95 Running in Brazil

Your welcome, just wish I could help more. It is more or less brand new so there is not too much to look out for.

Re: Base 2.2 AT 95 Running in Brazil

Not sure if you can get 303 aerospace protectant down there. It is great for protecting weather strips and anything else made from plastic or vinyl. The strips that are on the door at the bottom of the door glass are very important and very hard to find. There is a little piece of rubber that goes f...

Re: 96 suspension optoins

SensaTrack? Not a good idea unless you like you car to float like an old 70's car. Do you want to drop the ride height or do you want the stock height? Moog springs would work for stock, also Delco(which my car has), but those have yet to impress me. Not bad over all, not much of any gain in handlin...

Re: 96 suspension optoins

Poly stuff is nice and not harsh. As far as size you must use the size that you have/need. Moog is good and they also make poly end link bushings. As for the wheel bearings there is no such thing as reducing weight. Eibachs are now hard to get. http://canuckmotorsports.com/ try these guys and ask th...

Re: 1993 Quad4 GTZ: Project WTF

Try some Moog. Had some TRW's die in just a few months, so second on the "can go bad quickly". I always blamed myself on not replacing the seals, still it happened way to fast to be just that.
Car looks too sweet by the way. Makes me sick(lol).

Re: ac compressor

Really you need to do a system flush because it has been open for so long. Any O-ring you see should be replaced. Also keep in mind that R134a is the common now and your system may need to be converted.

Re: ac compressor

The switch should be on the high pressure line, just to the left side of the high pressure valve. If the line is still there then the switch will be too. Oh by the way that is the one that can be seen from the top and the valve has a red cap. That is where you hook up a line to the high pressure sid...

Re: Seat Mechanism

If it still works you have to have your finger over the end for it to pump up. The button releases the air. The tilt tends to get dirty and stops working with ease. A little clean up and oil can get it working again. If the screws for the track are in good shape and not rusted at the floor pan then ...
