Re: New bests THROUGH THE MUFFLERS! AND CAI thoughts

Dynolicious measures g-forces over a period of time. It doesnt matter if the tire is spinning or not, it is accurate. It's not like it thinks the car is going faster like the speedo does spinning at 20mph and reading 40... FWIW, it is always VERY close if not perfectly in sync with the speedo on a W...

Re: Project 91 "SS" 3400/5spd

So I've got most of the urethane BS done. Time to spray it soon!

I also special ordered a clutch fork from CarQuest today... it should be here within a week. AutoPartsGiant.com can go fork themselves.

Re: B'Fest times!!

I dont think I ever mentioned this yet... Tiffany's Subaru's best time was 11.1@64! hahaha

And I have finally found a way to be deadly consistent with a manual transmission, you just can't have enough power to spin the tires!

Re: New bests THROUGH THE MUFFLERS! AND CAI thoughts

This CAI business is all very interesting to me. Would have been nice to test while Geoff was on the dyno in Charlotte. With my 95Z, I made my own duct work that sealed the lower lip of the bumper to the bottom of the radiator support and brought a lot of air into the fender well where the CAI resid...

Re: Project 91 "SS" 3400/5spd

I hit the local JY and grabbed a 96 fan, so that will not be a problem any more. The headers rubbed off the paint on my 95 fan motor so I'm sure it wouldnt have been long before I had issues. I also started working on the final interior stuff last week. I cut a big sunroof hole in my 95 headliner an...

I never did drive Geoff's. Tiffany did and loved it, so she wants me to turbo hers.

Re: In loving memory of the Z26...RIP

More NY winters FTL... my gas tank rusted through and when I got underneath to replace it I realized how bad the rot was. I wish my exhaust guy would have given me a heads up, but http://bstuff.com/style_emoticons/default/100.gif happens. I decided to poke the bubbles in the door jambs and most of i...

In loving memory of the Z26...RIP

I bought this car in the fall of 2003 not long after I started my first semester of college. I got it as a pretty clean, unmolested 1-owner on ebay. After I won the bid I made the 10hr round trip to Boston to bring it home. http://media.motortopia.com/files/141/album_under_construction/44c2e70b2b225...
