4doorgtz

I have purchased a GTU from 4door before. His price was very reasonable. I had to wait a little while to receive it, but thats no big deal seeing as how hes from Canada and all. Was well packaged and appeared exactely as how he described it. Great guy.

Freeze plug removal

How the heck do you remove the freeze plugs on a v6? I can take the ones out of a v8 without any troubles but on a v6 they hit the back of the cylinder wall when removing them.  ??? I want to remove them because im having the block hot tanked at school.

Cracked block

Quote (JCZ26 @ Jan. 26 2003,18:03)Bryan, are you guys absolutely sure the block is cracked? Really, really sure? Theres always that possibility that the head gasket is leaking externally, and this could account for the sludge if it's been leaking for quite some time. Realizing that a 350 is a gm mot...

Cracked block

Thankfully this isnt on my vehicle, but sadly its on my friends. The motor is a 305 and its been leaking coolant towards the back and as one of my friends was feeling around towards the back of the block, wiped some "sludge" away and coolant just poured right out. Is something like this repairable? ...

Spark plug cleaning

The o2 sensor was replaced around the same time the plugs were changed. The fuel filter was changed sometime in October. It may need to be replaced seeing as how i run the tank almost dry before filling up. The engine seems like it wants to stall when i first start driving, i have to hold the accele...

Spark plug cleaning

Lately my fuel mileage has been on a steady decrease. It used to be around 23 even 24 miles per gallon at times. Now im getting around 16-17 mpg. I was thinking if cleaning the sparkplugs with a small wire brush attached to a dremel would be worth the trouble? I was also thinking that maybe a cylind...
