Re: 1993 Quad4 GTZ: Project WTF

I have my wilwood front brakes and rear disk swap on for 2+ years now and I agree with woody that you should do the master swap. At 50+ mph if I stomped on the brakes it would nose dive and slide due to hardly any back braking, without the master swap a rear disk swap really does not help much IMO.....

Re: Help me pick some speakers, quick!

I run Alpine type R speakers, I love the quality for the price. I have 6.5 inch speakers in the front mounted on my kick panels, which sadly vet kicked often, but they have a caged protector on the speaker.. The rear I have my 6x9 speakers mounted on top of the metal of the rear deck, I cut my rear ...

Re: Tylers (aka Slinkys) Build

Hopefully I will find that out someday soon, I'm more interested in dyno #s than track numbers due to my tractional difficulties.

Re: 1996 Mr.Pink

Tyler has TR6IX plugs, and I put TR7IX plugs in mine to be safe... Id rather clean a fouled plug than have to replace another melted one... I'll bring the TR6IX's with me. :) TR8IX is another option for 3 ranges colder than stock. Hmm mine are a bit warm but are probably working fine due to the gap...

Re: 1996 Mr.Pink

I honestly can't remember, you've removed them more than I have, I only remember that they are 2-3 steps colder, are iridium and are made for an Aston Martin I believe.

Re: 1996 Mr.Pink

I read somewhere awhile ago that you go colder 1 heat range per around 50hp, I went 2 or 3 when I installed the SC. I would go at least 2 with yours.
