Re: Re:

Shawn, the car is looking great. Even if the gearing isn't what you were hoping for, as you say the shifting is a lot better, and that trans should last you a good long time, even with the added torque of your 3500. Job well done lad! :Bravo: Thanks! Gearing on the highway definitely is not what I ...

Re: The trip into the "big leagues" ..running and driving!

Rain has been killing me being able to drive the Z the last few days.. The forecast said it was supposed to rain but I didnt see any on the live radar so I had both cars at work again. Got some miles on it again tonight and it didnt miss a beat. http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh148/SummitBalt08/...

Re: The trip into the "big leagues" ..running and driving!

I will look further into the 06 trans then.. I knew they sometimes have an issue going into 3rd when cold but didnt know about an internal part completely failing.

Thanks for the advice about finding the vacuum leak by the way. I will check all that out on Saturday.

Re: The trip into the

After reading some on the G6 Forum.. turns out the 07 F40 6 speed has closer ratio 4-6th gears.. I thought the 07 trans had better gearing altogether but I was wrong.

I am definitely going to the 06 F40 this winter. Being at 3100 RPM at 70mph sucks.

Re: The trip into the "big leagues" ..running and driving!

After talking with James... Since the upper intake was off a couple times because of the injector issues he is going to change the upper intake gaskets this weekend. That might be what's causing a vacuum leak to make the car idle funny now.

Re: The trip into the

You need a Malibu.net sticker on the Beretta.... Hey smartass... I had a Bnet decal on the Cobalt I had for a daily driver before I had the Malibu as well. http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh148/SummitBalt08/IMAG0012_zpspka8cfat.jpg I could have swore there was a way to block users on Bnet... Update to the build.. Ordered tires through TireRack yesterday around 2pm or so, and they showed up around noon today! Crazy how quick UPS got them here. I decided to give the GoodYear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2's a try. http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh148/SummitBalt08/Mobile%20Uploads/IMAG2768_zpsy...

Re: The trip into the

Next thing to verify would be all the sensor plugs... You using the N-body hubs iirc so the sensor is integrated and should have the same plug as the factory Beretta one did... The rears should also be integrated into the hub and the plug IIRC is on the back of them or in the tube of the rear axle,...

Re: The trip into the "big leagues" ..running and driving!

The entire dash with the dash harness and gauge cluster came straight from the 96 Cayenne I had last summer.

Everything is plugged in as far as I know.
