Re: My 3400 + 5 speed swap thread

This is the mount plans for the passenger front engine mount adapter to bolt a 3400 v6 into the old style Beretta (Gen2 v6) mounting point: http://www.beretta.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=24142 This allows the Gen3 v6 in the Gen2 engine bay. Then you don't have to try and weld the Gen3 passenge...

Re: Finally...

If the hood scoop vents towards the windshield that would make a great defrost for the winter. lol  Good! Of course, if it vents out away from the windshield, it would only work well in reverse... :P I received the last of the required -3 AN fittings and clutch adapters today. Maybe this weeke...

Re: 2.2 Manual Engine Swap

I never looked into this that much, but the 2.2L in the S10 can be turbocharged easier, there is a turbo manifold out there for it: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevy-S10-Cavalier-2-2L-T3-T3-T4-Flange-Turbo-Charger-Exhaust-Manifold-Cast-Iron/391942463239?fits=Model%3AS10&hash=item5b41975f07:g:rSAAA...

Super Summit 2018

If anyone in the Beretta group is interested the Super Summit 2018 event is coming up: https://www.summitracing.com/newsandevents/calendar/upcoming/2018-super-summit I know it is short notice, but they have Autocross, Drag racing, and I believe this year some off road stuff. There is also the monste...

I've seen these sell on ebay, it might be more successful.
There is also the Beretta.net facebook groups as well, I don't think everyone on the facebook groups browses the forums.

That is a very nice car, I'd have been asking about yours if I didn't already own my white 90 gtz. (Red is my favorite color).

Re: Finally...

Can you put on a turbo blanket? Also maybe ceramic coat the exhaust manifolds and the turbine housing. I put a ZR1 hood with a Vent on my Vette - you can see the heat escaping through the top with my TVS2300 on top. Well, I don't think I can find a turbo blanket that fits me personally. :D But yes,...

Re: Corsica misfiring after rain (nowadays problem with IAC valve)

Damn good info there! Going to start looking for a 1227727 as soon as I can. It has its own pinnout and harness/plugs so be prepared to rewire that part of your harness if you wanted to use a 1227727 box. lol. I'm also not sure if it will fit in the space under our Beretta dashs. There is an excel ...

Re: Clunking around passenger side when making right turn

You guys ever had issues with the steering wheel having slight shaking on hwy speeds? Mine seem to be shaking a little (Corsica), tires should be balanced etc. so I am focusing on the car itself for now... just dont know where to start. I got 2 Corsicas, both have same kind of behaviour. I had this...

Re: 1988 Beretta misfire when cold and random acceleration

Yah sometimes (often where I live) the TPS, IAC, and O2 are bad when new in box. I had three IAC valves in a row that never worked new and there is no return on electronic parts where I live. lol. I thought that something else was wrong with my 96 Beretta but the IAC valves were just junk.

Re: 1988 Beretta misfire when cold and random acceleration

Do you guys have had any problems with the engine while its idling i can almost always feel little shaking or stumbling on the streering wheel and seat? It is really slight, but its unstable, not like normal idling vibrations coming from engine. My both corsicas seem to have same feature... Like wh...

Re: 1988 Beretta misfire when cold and random acceleration

As long as the egr functions properly when the engine runs I wouldnt bother with it. But there should be a return on it so it closes when not under demand. You have the round vacuum controlled eye right? You can move it by hand and see if its still spring loaded, if so its probably fine. No need to ...

Re: Hmmmmnnnn...

With a Northstar like that in a Beretta I'd make the alternator fit then look for an electric version of the AC, water pump, and power steering if I really wanted it to work. But thats a tight fit. I know the Northstar is large. I used to have an Eldorado. They are great engines but they have their ...
