Re: Not your average Z26... a resurrection
I fully expect to be working on it in the parking lot at the hotel, probably installing all the parking brake stuff lol Hey, if you bring your e-brake stuff, I'll bring mine. I'd love to have an Ebrake again but I can't figure out how to reassembled all that damn stuff when it's bolted to the car...

Re: Not your average Z26... a resurrection
If you can get it to TN, I'm still game to tow it up to MKE if we can figure out the added fuel costs. I think I'd prefer to drive the Berettas, but we'll have to see what state everything is in come the 11th hour. I have the entire week of Bfest off so I might be able to come over the Saturday befo...

Re: 1993 Quad4 GTZ: Project WTF
So you had not enough offset and they rubbed the outer lip? Stock offset is 42mm IIRC. So if these new wheels give you 22mm more clearance with or without the spacer? That leaves you at 36mm or 26mm offset for the last set of wheels. I'm not surprised they had issues. My Whistlers were +30 but I ha...

Re: 1993 Quad4 GTZ: Project WTF
Haven't updated this post in a while, but after reading Geoff's updates, I figured I'd mention a few of the things I've done to my GTZ [semi] recently. I'm currently in the annual mad dash to get the car ready for BerettaFest so most of the stuff has happened within the past few weeks. I'll post mor...

I swear I've seen this car somewhere before... lol
When do you get the car back? You'll probably have time to get it all fixed up but it's gonna be a photo finish, for sure. Definitely be an interesting convoy to Bfest!

Drop-in LED bulbs for 91+ gauges?
I've tried to find info via the Search function but am coming up empty handed. Is there now a direct, drop in LED option for the 91+ gauge clusters?

Re: so.. I may get my old GTZ back
Rebuilding a Quad4 is WAY easier than a V6 swap. Seriously - these engines are pretty damn simple and if you build it right, it will last a loooooong time.tvc3-gtz wrote:Is it easier in theory to rebuild the quad four? Pretty sure the gasket went. Haven't gotten any more info yet

Options for Leather shift knob and shift boot??
I'm looking for a new shift knob for my GTZ. I'm tired of the goofy looking factory unit. I've seen a number of nice leather shifters and boots adapted to the Beretta and I'd like to do the same. I can modify my shifter arm for any thread, so it's just a matter of finding the right setup. What else ...

Re: Getrag shift cables
Well, at least we are having the discussion. That's a good start in my book. This group has become incredibly resourceful in terms of developing products and fixes for our cars over the years as GM supply has dwindled, but shift cables are something we have not yet found a good aftermarket source fo...

2018 BerettaFest Committee Nomination - Brian Kimmitt - DanteGTZ
As y'all know, I just can't get enough of BerettaFest! I've helped in many recent events including hosting BerettaFest 2016 in Ocean City and I'm hoping for the opportunity to help again in 2018.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Vert model?
I'm curious too. I wondering if it might still be at the junkyard. I'm half tempted to get in the car and drive all the way to Idaho to see if it's at the yard. Anyone want to go with me? I'm serious. Hooking up my car trailer as we speak so I can be there when the yard opens. Sent from my SM-G900R4...

I'd also be curious what you're looking to get for it. What part of the country is it in?

Yup.woody90gtz wrote:You did bed the pads before you did any testing, right?
On a side note, we did discover that the rear caliper pins were pretty dry so we lubed those up a bit more but I'd imagine that's just going to help them release and have nothing to do with the excess pressure.

Wilwood fronts and Neon rear discs... Which master cylinder???
Finally got around to swapping my factory '93 brake master cylinder to a '93 Lumina Z34 master. I've got to say, I don't think it's going to work for my setup at all. For starters, my front brakes are the 95+ J-body Wilwoods and my rears are the 95-05 Neon rear disc setup. With the Z34 master, the p...
