Re: Beretta Z28

Are the lower arms still powder coated?

I know its a drift car - but clean them up with some degreaser - the new calipers make them look terrible!

LOL...

Jon - are you going to have to shorten or lengthen the driveshaft?

Going with an aluminum shaft?

Re: 3400 M62 Supercharger

Thats a McGavin style hood mod there - at least this blower is intercooled with the heat exchanger.

The GAGT setups never where intercooled.

Cool setup - too bad its an M62 and not an M90.

Re: 1996 Mr.Pink

Can you use a valve spring compressor tool to test brake spring compressor rates? Edit - found this - ouch on the price: http://www.jegs.com/i/Proform/778/66775/10002/-1?CAWELAID=1710537723&CAGPSPN=pla&CAAGID=15769068431&CATCI=aud-60736883591:pla-208885075271&gclid=Cj0KEQjw3ZS-BRD1xu...

Re: Here I go Again.... AWD Retto

Looking at that link it only has 700r4's.... While that will bolt up to the older SBC T56 - I think i will be missing a hole for the top transmission bolt on the newer T56's. Also - you need to check the spacing on the flywheel / starter location. I do not think the 700r4 and the T56 have the same d...

Re: Here I go Again.... AWD Retto

There is no factory T56 4WD setup out there.

I have seen a guy use a Corvette T56 that is mounted out back - as his starting point and go from there.

Hers a link:

Re: LS1/t56 swap

Google LSA Adapters on Ebay - should be around $100 - $1500 for them.

Yes they are dirt cheap - hence I have one in the shop, lol.

Re: LS1/t56 swap

LS1 with Cathedral port heads - LS1 to LSA Adapters - LSA blower. That setup is going in a pretty nice G-Body.

Your car going to be more straight line performance - or an autox and road course setup?

Re: LS1/t56 swap

Cool - Have you figured out what oil pan/pickup tube your going to use? The Corvettes have the sump in the back and the steering rack up front. The G8/SS/Camaro have the sump up front -and the steering racks in the back. If the intake hits the hood - you might as well go full retard - LOL: http://i9...

Have you been working on engine mounts and drivetrain angle with your suspension mockup?

Will the engine clear the hood?
