Re: Last time for this. I can't decide which to submit! AR
I'd say pic number 4 is the best, looks like a professional magazine photo or a pic Chevrolet would've used on a brochure for the beretta

Re: '96 Z34 Monte Carlo. Pics are up!
Jon: Believe it or not, the timing belts I find to be cake on this motor. They intimidate alot of people because it has 4 cams. Pretty easy to get to the timing belt and even easier to install. Pretty hard to screw up imho. Now the alternators ARE a bit of a chore, but not awful, just costly in tim...

Re: what do you guys think of these graphics?
Eh, I don't know about putting them on a base. They're only $20 though, not a whole lot to lose if you don't like em'. @heavywoody How do they look on a beretta? I don't really like them, atleast from the pic he linked. Personally, I think a beretta should stay nice and clean looking, no strips or r...

Re: what do you guys think of these graphics?
They'd look ok, I don't personally like the stripes really, or really like strips on cars much for that matter, is it a base, gt, gtu or z26?
They're kinda hard to visualize on a beretta, so they might look better on it than they do on the GTO.

Re: Is it possbile to take the headlight lenses off to de-fo
Inside, I did the outside but the passenger headlight is still fogged/yellowed a bit. The headlight restorer is that cheap shitty paste stuff (I guess basically just wax) that you put on, wait to dry then wash off.
So it would be much easier to just get a pair of new headlights for it?

Re: Noob question
Do you mean performance wise or looks wise? The gtu ground effects and the Z26 bumpers are the only sporty things I can think of without ricing the car out. But I'm assuming the Z26 has the stock bumpers and spoiler. Performance wise, CAI would let the car breathe a bit better, but I doubt the incre...

They look a bit strange to me, what color is the car they're going on?

Re: Dash Illumination lights.
You get spoiled when you drive a Legacy every day and then you look at your beretta dash and go DAMN how did I ever read that at night. Thats why having a sexy digital dash is nice haha, much nicer to read at night (or day). The only thing that sucks is you can forget to turn your headlights on in ...

Is it possbile to take the headlight lenses off to de-fog?
Okay, is it possible to take the lenses off of the headlights to use headlight restorer? How difficult? I don't want to rip them apart not knowing if they will go back together ok because its my daily driver. I'm guessing they'd need re-sealed?

Wanted: Beretta parts in PA
okay, I'm basically looking for a headliner (mine was ripped out by previous owner) for a factory sunroof 89 GTU with gray interior and maybe a "cheap" dash cover because mine was spray bombed flat white and has bondo smeared on it (thanks previous owner) And if anyone knows where I could ...

Re: 1989 GTU problems
When doing an idle relearn, the ONLY thing you're trying to get the car to learn is the BASELINE idle. IE: No A/C , no blower fan, no lights, etc. Once you have taught the car it's baseline idle, everything else will fall into place as the system already knows how/when to compensate for things like ...

Re: Is it easy to Turbo a 2.8 Beretta? Performance mods?
Alright I didn't know if there were any factory turbos that would bolt up fairly easy to this car. Not a problem though, I already got my performance fix (70 LeMans with a hopped up 455) Another question, and I'll post up a pic of the car then to show its ride height, how do beretta's do in the snow...

Is it easy to Turbo a 2.8 Beretta? Performance mods?
Is it easy to turbo/supercharge the 2.8 V6 in a 1989 Beretta GTU? Is there any other performance mods for these cars? the only mods I know of on my car are a Cold Air Intake and a punched out cat.

Re: 1989 GTU problems
Ok, I'll try that stuff. Could it be a injector maybe? I love this car tho, it's even got the original leather/vinyl book thing with all the original warranty and owners manual things, there's 3 books i think and the original salesman card from when it was bought new. Rust free too, which is a bit s...
