Try flushing the system.  The radiator is only a one core so any clogging really messes it up.  You could just take it out and get it boiled.

Engine rebuild

Correct.  New cam and bearings is a good idea so that you do not have to do it later as it requires so much work that is already done.  Just be sure to break the cam in properly when you get it all back together.  RUn it at 2000 RPM for 20 minutes, do not idle at all, on initial startup.  Once that ...

You could have tweaked a rod and that will do it, but by turning the engine with the tranny in park you also may have caused a hill lock if the tranny got turned a little.  Hill lock is a simple case of the parking pawl getting jammed in place when pressure is applied in the trans.  if you cannot sh...

Engine rebuild

The work depends on what you are trying to do to the engine.  Balance and blueprint requires a lot more work.  Just a simple rebuild should include boring the cylinders, machine the heads and valve seats, verify the deck and crank saddles are good, Check all clearances for bearings pistons valves et...

91-93 door panel issue.

Gorilla Glue or 5 minute epoxy is my fav. for a fix like this.  You can also peen it if you are careful but that looks horrid.  Glue the sucker.

Assuming that you pulled the engine when you did them would lead me to think that it could be the tranny is misaligned.  This will cause a lockup pretty quick as the tc gets ****-eyed in the flywheel and the tranny pump and locks the whole thing solid.  Never try the starter when you first turn an e...

Problems Controlling air temperature

All I get is hot air all the time too, but that's cuz my wife is in the car

If your internal vacuum lines are all connected then try checking under the hood, there is a line for the HVAC coming off thinteke manifold, check the sticker for details.

The MAP sensor must be connected.  Otherwise the ECM cannot control the air/fuel mixture and it will not run right.  Also, the EGR Port should be plugged on the manifold, that is probably why you have no brake boost as this is a HUGE vacuum leak.

Am/fm/cd radio

If you are good with a moto-tool you can make a bracket for a regular DIN unit.  I put a blaupunkt in my Saturn that way, just cut the existing dash to take out the big ugly factory unit and then made a faceplate that fit in the hole for the new radio.  IF you are careful with the cut you can do the...

Not tough to get too and easy to remove, but be warned... lining up the heavy starter motor and getting the bolts started can be aggravating.  Also might be easier to remove the fan to get to it and go from under the car.

Injectors...

Crud could come from the gas tank or deteriorated hoses.  Check the hoses, pop in a filter, and if you can drop the tank and verify the in tank filter (a bag looking thing) is not ripped.   As for servicing, if these are the original injectors another option is new ones.  This is pricey but consider...

OK, here is what seems to be happening.  THe starter is just a big electric motor that spins.  Sitting on top of this big can shaped thing is a smaller can (the solenoid) that forces a gear forward to connect the starter motor with the flywheel on the engine, allowing the motor to turn the engine wh...
