The fastest (just curious)

9.8? What was the trap? That means you are making over 600 hp. Thats a lot to send through a powertrain.......What have you done to keep the transmission from completely grenading itself?

RSM Racing makes a nice WAI....I'd tell you to get that, but Mr Choke-It has a much better option here.

Bfest 03 dyno run information

Ok, so DynoJet has a different RunViewer...right click, save as... http://www.dynojet.com/viewer/RunViewer7.0.1.0.zip Its mostly the same thing....except now, I have torque curves! Which is weird, I had a curve on run #4, but 2 and 3 where lacking because of the waste spark. However, now I cannot gr...

What oil filter do you use?

Yup, yet another reason to switch to Mobil 1. Although, if your motor has a lot of miles (100k+) then you may not want to switch. Beings that it is a "thinner" oil, it will also seep past seals and such. I saw the light and switch around 80k and have had no troubles. All I had was a slight...

What oil filter do you use?

I think BIGBULS went off about oil filters one day and posted that link as well. Either way, it is a very good link and the guy did a very good job on his research and stuff. I use ACDelco PF47, I tried the taller PF52, but because I live in Iowa with random big things in the road, I decided to stay...

Are you positive the donor car was OBD-II? Because mine came from a 96 and worked just fine.

Manual post 91 z26?

Yes there was a manual Z26 made. A 1994 Quad 4 equipped Z26. There where 896 made. Rare.

It doesn't matter though what model it came from. Just pay attention to the color like Erich said. BTW, he probably has the one you are looking for.

Where to start

I like Janus idea, get it in machanically good condition first, this helps out a lot. You may need the car and it makes it a lot easier to move adn such. Also, when you are working on the suspension, you wouldn't want to scratch your new paint. As far as the dash and stuff goes, Canadian Chris (Chri...

3.4 twin cam 5spd

The 3100 is an OHV engine, not cam....it has pushrods (12), and a cam.

The 3.4L DOHC has 4 cams and 24 valves.

That 5 speed used there was never used with any other motor. Very rare.
