Re: Engine Swap
you will need to make you wireing harness obd2 because 95's are obd1.5
if your going to go through the trouble of a swap, find a 5 speed trans. the V6 is much better behind a manual versus the auto.

Re: shift linkage
my 1988 Acura legend used a Shift linkage setup. it shifted like a RWD tranny.
if the car has not been scrapped yet ill pull off the linkage to see if it can be engineered to fit.

Re: GM Transmission mount provision for upper PS motor mount
i knew of plenty of people used more stiff poly instead of the gel back in the day. I didn't notice any abnormal amount of vibration, but because i replaced the top mount the lower mounts are taking more strain and need replaced. This is still a Poly mount, but if the poly fails, the internal steel ...

Re: GM Transmission mount provision for upper PS motor mount
it was cheap to do and didnt take long, and because its a common part, when it goes bad it will be much easier to locate years down the road.

Re: this is awesome!
just ask which yard its going to and see if you can purchase the car as "parts only" the vehicle will still have a title, just make sure you can get it so you can have a "reconstructed" title registered.
