Tb cleaning, part 2
I was doing a search and happened across this page. What a wonderful job this person did on a procedure! Anyone who has a 3.1 MPFI engine will like this. Now we need someone to do this kind of job for the Quad4, though you certainly could get most of the information you need from what they show h...

Smoke from steering column...
I agree with all of the above. I will also include that it could be the buzzer alarm for the "key in ignition" switch. Mine smoked and then stopped buzzing. In fact it would emit a little puff of smoke about once every 6-9 months for about 6 years. I finally had a more fatal problem in...

Winshield washer problem
Remove the hose from the pump and then try it to eliminate the hose as the problem. Then have someone listen to the pump while you press the button. You should hear a whine from the pump motor. My wife's truck had a clogged sprayer, everything else up to that sprayer worked. Very annoying part t...

I had similar problems. I attached a new ground terminal lug for attaching to the bulb to that wire and solved the problem.

Problem I ran across, is, the yards in my area won't part out doors at all. If it comes attached to the door, you have to buy the whole door! So even if I found some nice trim, it would do me very little good.

Check the thread I started about Moulding in this section. It has the P/Ns you need, as well as mentioning www.gmpartsdirect.com where you can get the pieces for around $50.00 each.

Quote (stang&2Birds @ Jan. 06 2003,20:24)Eastwood sells *brushable sealant* for car bodies.
That sounds good! You could then coat the whole area instead of just the joints.

That was my thinking! Do you know that flap that I'm talking about? Amazing that the body shop sealed that up. Or maybe that isn't such a surprise. Instead of asking me, or even looking for the key for my wheel locks, they destroyed the locks removing my wheels! Jezz, it was just in the glove co...

My car has leaked before, so when I had some bodywork done a few years back, I asked them to do some sealing. That worked for a while, then it has started to leak again. I pulled out the air inlet screen and saw that the silicone had started to get brittle and water was obviously getting under it....

OK, I'm seeing a lot of ideas flying around here dealing with putting multiple speakers in parallel, what is the impedence, etc... I want to put out some facts here for those that don't deal with this stuff normally. First off, you can't accurately MEASURE the impedence of a speaker. What you wo...
