All I have to say is OBDII FTMFW!!!! The car runs beautifully (considering the PCM is looking for an 4T60E)... we let it run through several cooling cycles, turned it off and restarted it several times when hot, and it ran absolutely wonderfully each and every time! I don't care if my LSD isn't it, ...

Did you get the bolts that go into the side of the pan? There are ones that bolt into the side (I think 4 of them), and ones that bolt into the bottom of the block (which are probably the ones you got already).

One in the rear exhaust manifold, and another one in the exhaust pipe right after the catalytic converter.

I don't think the Malibu's use the 4T60-E trans... I think they use the 4T45-E... I wouldn't use that trans.

As far as the 95... I'm pretty sure you need a 96 Beretta/ Corsica trans, since 96 is OBDII specific.

The one from the Buick will have different gearing.

Make sure the o-ring in the vertical pipe (where the pipe connects to the water pump) is good before you put it back in... or just replace it.
