When you have a trans problem you should always first check the trans fluid level and condition. So go check the trans fluids color, smell and if you are low.

I also just did a head gasket on my 90 GTZ. Head was good just need to be shaved. Before and after the rebuild my oil Pressure is the same as yours. My other 90 GTZ had a bad OPS and showed 80 psi cold. Shavings could be what 3X00 said with the chain. I reused mine so I don/t know for sure. just kee...

What kind of turbo is it? It used to have a turbo thunderbird t25 right?

One of the relays is for the A/C clutch. I think its the second one from the left.

What did he replace on it? Running rich and stalling on my quads was one the O2 sensor and the other time was the Fuel pressure regulator.

Yes that will work. Its what i have on my 90 GTZ. I checked all data and it says 44oz of refrigerant for an 89 2.8

Only a 16.3? At what MPH? Are you at a high elevation?

I added dye to my AC system and charged it back up, hope I find this small leak it has. The AC in my GTZ has never been right since the alternator broke and destroyed the suction/dischage lines.
