Z26, GTZ, GTU and Indy Decals

Post by Lothurin »

Was wondering if anyone had the vector files on these decals? Indy one isn't important. I'd like to get them made up for my GTZ and a friends GTU.

I'm working on getting Indy decals replicated... I have a shop near me that can print on clear vinyl so I'm working on getting an original set to scan... I know a few who have asked for them in the past and even OEM decals are pretty much useless since they have 22-23yr old adhesive which is probably crap by now.

I could do the same if someone had GTZ and GTU decals to work with but without them its a $60hr fee for them to recreate a logo from an image.

Updating second post to show prices of whats available, Browse through this thread to see examples of the decals.
3X00-Modified wrote:The rest are as follows.

GTU Kit, Two quarter and one bumper $60
Z26 Kit, Two Door and one bumper, any color $60
GTZ Kit, One bumper $25

These are all printed as the originals, On clear vinyl and laminated, The GTU is silver text as well as the GTZ... I can have it in any color though if you wan to specify. Z26, you pick the color.

Banners any color are $35

If you have someone who can do graphic design that's your best bet, because without originals to scan and re-produce thats all they are doing. At least your way you have more control over the finished product too.

That I do not have, I don't have access to a GTZ or a Indy or a GTU to get pics of the originals.

Whoever you have do the pictures have them put a ruler going horizontal and vertical in the pics so you can size them properly.

I thought Gerson (Wanako) had made GTZ or GTU decals at some point.

This is all I have from back when I was sanding mine down years ago. Don't know if it helps at all. I'm also in need of these if someone gets some made. I have a set of new fender decals unused. I can take pics of those with a ruler if you'd like

I think I have a set of full indy's coming my way, yes minus the sticker you posted but if I get the large door one scanned we can easily make this one from it with the Beretta font.

I'm still working on it, I'll update you when I have information.

Just got word from a supplier (allegedly the original) that they have the GTU decals on file for anyone to order at $125 a set. They sent me a picture of an original set which I could still see the OEM part numbers on. They should also have the windshield banner on file. More details on this very soon.

I also asked about the Indy decals, to which they replied that 3M was the original supplier of those. I'm trying to find a lead on it for more information. Jon, I'm very interested to see how yours come out.

Look what I got...

It was surprisingly easy to remove the masking... I also have an original windshield banner. All of this will be getting scanned to become a new original digital copy for re-production. Only decal I need to make on my own is the bumper one and the other optional door one that resembles the bumper. Biggest issue with that is I need someone who is good in illustrator to FIX THE DAMN BERETTA EPS that Woody keeps pushing as being the "original" It's not right and needs to be fixed somehow.
