Floor trouble

Post by kjlee2112 »

I wasn't exactly sure which thread to put this in, but I figured this was close enough.  I have a 96 base v6 automatic... My floor is all of the sudden wet... and all the time.. rain or dry... i don't know what's goin on.  It's like somewhere is leaking.  It's mainly on the driver's side only, and now its starting to smell like stagnant water.  I don't know what's goin on, so I'm wondering if anyone is having this same problem?  Thanks

-Kevin

Read my lengthy PM and let us know what you find out. You may want to test with water first and look at where the power wire comes through on the inside and see what happens.

A) is the power wire leaking water through the new hole?
B) if it is, is it leaking on top or under the carpet or both?
C) if not power wire, is the car itself leaking like mine?

Good luck.
