Alarm LED Placement

Post by Jeff P »

I'm looking for some ideas on where to place my alarm LED...Mine is wired to be illuminated whenever the car is running, but flash when the alarm is set so I'm looking to move it someplace where it will no longer blind me but can still be seen during the day

I have 2, one on each A pillar. As far as where to put yours, I would put it behind the rearview mirror. Not sure on legality though, with it being illuminated all the time

Yeah, maybe I'll just redo the electrical for it so it's not illuminated all the time.  It was originally in my start button so it wasn't as bright.  Thanks for the suggestions!
