Question on side molding.

Question on side molding.
Was wondering if the side molding on the 89 GT (The larger black plastic) has mounting holes behind it. Ive been curious to remove it but i don't want to start pulling adhesive just to find out there are holes behind it.

I don't believe there are any holes on the early models.
