Strut tower brace

Post by rjc333 »

Ok, so I know a strut tower brace from a '92-'94 Cavalier will bolt up directly onto our Berettas without modification, but what about a brace from a '95+ Cavalier?  I'm not certain if the track on those cars is any wider than the pre-95 ones.  It's just that trying to find a 92-94 is difficult in these parts, but you see them for sale everywhere online for the '95+ models.

Well, you can also get a nice billet brace from MRZ.  As well as Freedom Design makes one that will work (they sell it for a grand am)

I'm not sure what's going on with that. I have two that I got from  Z-24's and both will fit. I'm not sure on the years.

I have both styles, like I said before, I'm willing to sell. I took my strut bar off my 88 and put it on my friends 96. there is no difference in the berettas, the cavys had different patterns depending on the year. post a pic of the strut towers.

you going the ******* child 92 cavy, it was a 91 unibody that was left over from 91. i had the same problem with mine. I got it off a 92 and it didn't fit. went to the other 92 in the junk yard and patched them up and yeap different. found a 91 and it looked just like the one i buaght first. hope that helps out alittle. go find another cavy and take the first one you buaght with ya to make sure you buy the right one the second time
