No, my white gtz appeared to sit lower then brians gtz. Ill get measurements when i get home.
1991 beretta GTZ- 2.3l w41 cams, ported 086 head with a 3 angle valve job, fidanza flywheel with exedy racing clutch, 3.94fdr from and scx, so much more..

my new ride height with the new eibachs is 25.5" all around, tires unchanged at 225 50 16

After reading all this I went and double checked my measurements.
It is dead on 25" in the front and 25.5" in the rear with 3/4 tank of gas.
Just came off a 75 mile round trip so it's settled and that is what it is.
Proves that everything, including its 65 year old owner, all sag with age.

Should have actually compared to my Indy since that's a v6 auto with Eibach.
Also your FE7 springs are much older than his brand new Eibachs. I'd love to be able to have oem height measurements but that's out of the question... No one has brand new FE7 springs.
Once I unload my tires from Bfest I'll get some new measurements for both cars.

I still believe fe7 may sit lower then eivachs, the spring rate drop from eibach is based on fe1, and obviously fe7 is lower. Someone in gm may be able to tell you what the factory height of a gtz or indy was.

V6 and quad 4 cars also used different fe7 springs up front due to the increased weight.

A factory service manual should have trim height specifications for various suspension options. Unfortunately only have '89 and '94, so no FE7 info.

I have a 90 and 96 manual so I could also get FE7 FE3 and FE1 heights for 90 as well as FE1 and FE3 for 96.
I have your car today Pauly so I'll grab the book and see what I can find.

I got some from archives and measured today
I measured to where the glossy paint starts on fender to center of axle, the standard way of measuring this so the tires, pressure or weather wont affect it. It's also how cars are measured here in the inspection.
1992 3.1/5spd GT, today. (3/4 tank of fuel?)
Front: Sprints Installed 2007. Koni strut inserts. Springs were already used for a year
Rear: Eibach, Installed 2010ish. Saab KYB's. Springs were alread used several years before.
Front 344mm, Rear355mm
Same car, but with Sprints at rear too, can't remember what struts\shocks. Late 2007 (fuel amount unknown)
Front: 340mm, rear 330mm (Measured at inspection, not by me.)
Later the Sprints sagged so bad that the car started riding on the bump stops.
1990 2.3/5spd GTZ, today. (half tank of fuel)
Front: Hard part of the Eibach spring. Bilstein B6 struts. Custom installation height and preload and valving.
Rear: One-off custom springs. Bilstein shocks.
Front 333mm, Rear 354mm
Same car, 2009 (I think it was fairly low on fuel)

I suggested the fender to ground method of measuring because everyone want's to just know how far off the ground their car is.... You give them a number from fender to center of wheel now they need to figure out the radius of their tire and add that to it and take into consideration all the elements you left out. I do like the method from the book measuring forward/back of the wheels from a set point on the rocker to the ground. But that will take into consideration the wheel/tire combo again... Which in all honesty is something I want included so people know what it does when they put on oddball size tires.

Wow, so a GTZ starts out with a negative Z height. That's not very good for the roll center.

Well that would be measured to bolt in actual suspension geometry I think.

Yes, the Z height is the relationship between the bottom of the suspension rail to the bottom of the ball joint. The spec has the bottom of the ball joint higher than the suspension rail for FE7.
