After upgrading the suspension on my 1996 Z26, i need to buy camber bolts. Now, I have some confusion. Do I need 14mm Cam bolts or 16mm Cam bolts?

I have the stock knuckle with the KYB GR2 struts. Im thinking I need the 16mm but want to make sure.

Who said that you need these? If they assembled the struts properly you can get almost -2° of adjustment with the stock bolts and the way the strut is slotted already.

I put it all together and had it aligned. It wasnt perfect and they said that they couldnt get it perfect. Since then the suspension has settled and now it is really bad. I have to take it back in, and taking it to a different shop. My 89 has adjustable camber bolts that I had to get. Same front suspension.

I feel like the installers did not setup the upper mount properly. I just did Pauly's car with Eibach and Koni's and I had it at -1* of camber for the road course, granted that's as much as I could get but you should be setting it at zero for road driving.

Are the Canuck's settling that much? If so that's a bit scary and will keep me away from using them.

I hate band-aiding an issue if it's because something isn't setup right.

Setup the upper mount properly? It only goes in one way. The Canucks are only about 1/2" to an inch lower. They are higher then the Sprints. Passenger side toe is off. Driver side camber is way off.

KYB Upper mount, new control arms, KYB GR-2 struts, Canuck springs. I used the same for the 89. had alignment issues, but the camber bolts and it fixed the issue. Just wondering if I need to do the same for the 96. Just wondering if i need the 14mm or 16mm bolts.

96 should be 14mm, all the other years are 16mm.

Did you install the angled spacer on the upper mounts? that can go in 4 different ways resulting in angled struts and hard alignment problems. Toe should have never been an issue either... That's 100% easily adjusted if you have the adjusters centered between the tierod ends.

Yes. I added the spacer. I will check that again to make sure it is in correctly.
