87-96 Rear Axle Suspension plastic inserts

This is the first set.

These replace the rubber inserts. We make them out of different plastics. Can also be made out of aluminum. I believe these are HDPE. I was thinking of putting metal inserts but that may not be needed. These Increase steering and handling control by taking much of the compliance out of the rear end.

These may require sticking in the freezer before installing.

That's very impressive! Might pick up a set just to have. How bad are our cars with these going bad, and how can you tell?

Wow nice work! Although, i have enough vibration in the from the front of the car due to all the urethane up front. I cant imagine what the ride would be like with those in the rear...

Vibration or road feedback? I get no vibrations in my 1990 GTZ. I get some road feedback, but its pretty smooth.

This may eliminate the need for a fatter RSB. Depending on cost I may want a set

I was going to make it set of these but I never got around to doing it. Glad someone else took it on. I may want a set as well... but maybe not for this year.

Guys who road race will throw a word of caution about suspension bind and snap steering when using too stiff of a rear axle bushing.

Just putting it out there.

Kflo is very correct. Putting softer suspension components in cars will dampen and prolong the life of your vehicle. Changing mounts to other than specified will make for a harsher ride. These types of components are for off road racing type vehicles. I will write a disclaimer before I ship these off to Weba. For those who don't daily drive their Beretta and want an aggressive ride this is for you. Just from experience of knowing Weba, when you drive with him, helmet recommended, buckle up, diaper optional. Check old footage of when he borrowed the old guys 91 California GTZ at bfest in 2008. ;)

Those look like a nice, quality piece. Possibly thinking of Delrin? I made a set of front control arm bushings out of delrin but haven't got to test them out yet. Count me in on a set if you throw delrin on the table.
Thanks for getting another part out there Erich!

Plastic? That sounds rather scary for rear end inserts. Some sort of high grade plastic or something? Cool idea, but go more in depth. I'm curious on the specs. Quality material, tensile strength, etc. What kind of load it will stand up to or abuse?
