Any news on if they're direct fit to 95+?

I'll let you know when I get them, probably this spring.

Yeah, I'll be looking for a new set since I want to do a complete refresh of everything.

I currently Have a set of Bilsteins coming for the rear... I'm hoping to verify the length of the rear shocks will be ok on a 95 and just may need to strap the rear axle from dropping down to far and having the springs fall out when jacked up since I know 94 and older shocks are 3.1" longer when fully extended, but they are only 1.45" longer when fully compressed... so hopefully that is not bottomed out before the bump stops would hit on my car, if not they should work.

I just bought single adjustable Koni's for my bmw. Im using them in place of my stock coilover shocks. The shocks and mounting are very similar to beretta. I have the same issue, my springs will come loose at full droop.

I am going to build a set of shock mounts like this:
http://store.bimmerworld.com/ground-con ... p1451.aspx

I see no reason why you couldn't combine 2 sets of stock beretta mounts with a small piece of pipe in between and set your droop to whatever suits you best, assuming there's room above the shock tower to do so.

Got lengths, updating first post.

I do see what you’re saying though Barry... I do not know what the limitation is above the shock mount at this moment, or if the dust tube would fit through that hole to allow a spaced up mount.

I think it should be fine, because I did at one time run GR2 shocks for a 93 on my 95 Beretta since listings were wrong when I first lowered my car... I had no issues other than the springs falling out at full droop... never saw any symptom of the shocks bottoming out before the rest of the suspension so I think it should work fine.

Ordering up a set of Koni Yellow inserts today... I have always had a pop in my front end and last year the noise was from a strut that you could rock in and out the rod going into the strut was the pivot point... passenger side is doing the same thing again. I'm sick of these cheap ass KYB's

I wonder if that's what my "can't find the source of it" pop is??

They are finally here... I hope to be doing the swap this weekend... I need these before Epping... The more I can keep the front of the car on the ground the better and having adjustable rebound will help quite a bit.

Bushings I'm having made to take up the extra space since these are meant for the smaller J-body strut... Much better than using exhaust tubing as some have.

For those who don't know, there are three points on the tube of the strut at the top that are used to center it (I'll get pics of it)... that's why there is a large gap between the tube and the bushing in that last photo.

I'm not the first to do this, Steph and Cack documented it done on their gtz but I don't know where those parts/car ended up. I'm just the first to have these bushings machined like this.

Any chance I could pick up a set of those bushings?
