Fuel and brake line assy
Fuel and brake line assy
Just figured since I found one for my car I should let others know as well. I picked up a 95 Z a few weeks back that needed some work to put it nicely. Well since I was replacing the tank, straps, and pump I figured I should at least attempt to find the replacement fuel/brake line assy since it was pretty well rusted out. As it turns out I found the part # and lucked out, the dealership had 4 in their outlying warehouse and didn't charge me shipping. The part # for the 94-96 3.1L V6 cars is 12360439 and the price I paid was $126! you can find it at paceparts or gmpartsgiant for around $85 but they will get well upwards of $150 for shipping as this is a HUGE part and need to be shipped freight.
While I was there I did try to find the replacement for my 88 GTU. The part # for the 88-89 V6 cars is 10050111 but that one is discontinued everywhere. I found one on ebay a while back in Texas for $150 but the shipping was $460 so I had to pass. I'm toying with the idea of just removing mine and having a shop bend SS line to make me a new one.
Anyway, I hope this can help another person maybe save their car in the future

Re: Fuel and brake line assy
I picked up the 95 assy for my 95Z when the fuel line rotted out, but installation requires subframe removal so I didn't do it. I did put it on my 91, which made hooking up the 3x00 and my 95 tank easy, but did require a reflare for both rear brake lines, and one on the master cylinder.
