removing headliner from a corsica?

Post by themadness »

i found an old junk corsica nearby that is pretty much scrapyard ready with exception to the headliner board.i think its an 89. how hard would it be to get it out with 4 doors and will it even fit. my 94 beretta was fairly easy but the column on the corsica would obviously be harder. not to mention that i would have to somehow jerk the doors open since only one that i know of will open. it has the front light between the visors. if its a bitz to get out i'm not gonna bother but considering the car is missing 2 windows the board is pretty sound....

It was "easy" to do in my Beretta, I imagine a corsica would be the same, except that the opening to get it out of is much smaller. You might have to remove the door(s) and/or the front seats.

On my 89 buick it was pretty easy to get it out but putting it back in was difficult for some reason. I've always wondered if removing the back glass may have been better.
