Timing chain

Post by KillerofRice »

I was wondering if there is a way to tell whether I have the first or second timing chain design on my 90 quad? I know the first design is 2 row and the second is single row. So with out pulling off the cover is there any way to tell from the vin or anything. I think it maybe time to replace mine.

Both my 90's were a Dbl row setup.  But if you need single row parts for some reason I have the guides and tensioner brand new, only opened the packages to verify them.
