ABS

My Brakes work fine but ABS acts up then turns off "Eventually". sometime in cold or wet weather i press brake and my car kind of turns to the right in the rear like im sliding on ice but there is not ice. If it does that enough the abs light comes on. I was wondering how to turn off ABS until i can get it fixed. i hate almost sliding through a stop sign. Thanks additional help on abs problem is welcome

SOunds like a wheel sensor is fried.
