Help! motor/tranny problem
95 Z26 Auto stock 3.1
ok heres the deal i put it in nutrel and rev it it wont go above 4 grand just a little above it then it drops again like im red lining it or something but im nowhere near red line then when i race it wont go any faster then 70 it just wont go anymore and i flooring it too it just dose the same thing stoping at 4 grand on my rpm gauge and jumping up and down what the hells wrong?

That limiter in park and neutral is normal. If it's happening in gear it's possible that you have an issue with the neutral safety switch. Either re-adjust or replace it.
