Hey i just replaced my 2.0 motor in my 89 beretta with a 2.2 from a chevy cav from 1990, same motor really, but now I dont have any spark to the plugs, plugs are new, sparks are new, check coil pack and it tested fine, any one out there got any Ideas...did I not hook the wires up right any help would be great Im lost here.

Couple things.

Do you in fact have spark at the plug?

Fuel? Got fuel pressure?

You can check that at the schrader valve. Just make sure it spits gas at you.

In fact you should hear the pump prime when you turn the key on.

After that Ignition module perhaps, but do the first two first.

Spark plus fuel, it will fire.

I do have fuel pressure, its shooting gas down the intake, we took out the plugs and touched them to the top of the block and no sparks, not sure what is the prob.
