hood compatability

Post by Lespaul59 »

Searched forum but couldn't find. Got a 90 beretta gt 3.1 and was wondering what years and models will be a direct fit replacement?

All years. All models. Any color. Beretta only. Corsica hoods don't fit.

Well yes all Beretta hoods will bolt up and all... but the factory prop rod is in a few different locations throughout the years they were produced. My 94 had a smashed up hood when I bought it so I put a hood on it from a 93 since it was available... The 94 prop rod wouldn't work with the 93 hood without modification. I ended up getting Redline Tuning hood shocks

A Corsica hood won't fit? Why exactly..? Thought a berreta was a two door Corsica...

Yes in an essence it is but to get the Corsica hood to fit you would also need the bumper and grill and headlight support setup, and the fenders. Have you looked at the front of a Beretta vs the Corsica? They are not shaped the same but the unibody below is the L-body
