Engine Cooling parts

Post by ifixalot »

96 Beretta 3100 engine.
Below the EGR valve is a coupler. The pipe to the heater core hose goes into this coupler.
What is it called? I'd like to get a new one and the o-ring inside. Mine is corroded and leaks
a little.
Also I have an aftermarket radiator. The cheap plastic drain cock threads inside the radiator
seem to be stripped. Has anybody come up with a fix for this situation?
If not, I'm thinking I'll just get a new radiator.

Yesser, helps a lot! Looked in my service manual & couldn't find it.
Now I know what it's called, they are easy to find.
Thanks a bunch!
