88-90 Dash skin

I've ordered a dash skin for my 88 Beretta from stock interiors.com.
My dash is warped and I noticed a crack above the cluster.
I'm hoping this will be a big improvement.
Has anybody here done one of these? I'd appreciate any tips or tricks.

This is what I found on a quick search:

If you ask, he might be able to send photos if he still has the car.
I don't remember if the old dash cap needs to be removed first or not.

I put one in my white 90 a few years ago. Being the only option other than to have a ugly dash. The fit is far from ideal but ok I guess. I removed the old dash surface before installing the cap as mine was warped and it would not lay down flat. The fit around the speaker grilles is not good and it eventually cracked in the corners. The opening in the cap is a little smaller than the original dash as it is designed to overly thus the openings are too small for the speaker grilles. I could send you picks if you like
